What happened to this most simple challenge that fell of the map to soon. I mean personally I find magic eye fun and fascinating, turning over the pages of a book while staring for moments and of course sometimes ages to see whole or even a glimpse of the hidden pictures.

Some pictures looked like art deco, others not so much.

I want to let you know that amongst all the high tech gadgetry that was developing in the 90s, this came at a time where a book of images came out paced by the start of the internet super highway.

It may almost feel sad that the tech age out paced such creative works but this was also what gave the magic needs, advancements in tech.
In fact computer programmer Tom Baccei and artist Cheri Smith created the first color random-dot autostereograms, later marketed as Magic Eye. A computer procedure that extracts back the hidden geometry out of an autostereogram image .

The good thing about the internet is these images can be seen today on the web for everyone to enjoy and the magic still lives on by people growing up from the 90s or by a student of today, looking for maybe a little family nostalgia, or more likely for a laugh.

So take time to enjoy the last images and comment what you find.
