With remote employees now making a majority of workforce all over North America, employers are in constant need of team- building exercises to keep the remote staff motivated. Here are few of the ideas for remote workforce.

1. Two Truths and a Lie: Each team member shares three statements about themselves — two truths and one lie. Others in the group have to guess which statement is the lie. This not only helps team members learn more about each other but also encourages interaction.

2. Virtual Scavenger Hunt: Create a list of items or tasks that remote employees can find or complete within their own homes. Set a time limit and ask them to take photos or videos as proof. This can include finding specific items, doing specific tasks, or answering trivia questions.

3. Emoji Introductions: Ask team members to introduce themselves using only emojis. It’s a fun way to express personalities without using words. Everyone can take turns guessing what the emojis represent and sharing their own interpretations.

4. Team Trivia: Create a trivia game related to your company, industry, or general knowledge. There are various online platforms that allow you to set up trivia games where remote team members can participate and compete against each other.

5. Virtual Show and Tell: Have team members bring an object and share a story about it. It could be something related to their hobby, a souvenir from a trip, or anything…
